System Design

System Design begins with a needs analysis. The needs analysis is produced through a series of meetings with our team of engineers and architects and your team to clearly understand and define your exact expectations, functional requirements, and a realistic budget.

Once we have articulated your needs, we begin drafting materials lists along with workflow and signal flow diagrams. The purpose of these diagrams is to visually illustrate how your solution will work and how it needs to be engineered. With the workflow diagrams, we reconcile your team's personal preferences with our team's recommendations to determine the best technical product and configuration of every key piece of equipment. This includes items such as middleware, encryption, set top boxes, servers, switchers, routers, video servers, dish systems, local off air channel selection, off air tower, and more.

With the design, workflow and budget confirmed, our team then develops site plan layouts, estimated power consumption, and HVAC requirements. If we are working with new facilities, these are critical inputs for the physical architect and building contractor.

System Engineering

System Engineering takes into account that every single piece of equipment, systems and IP Connectivity path in your project is planned out, has been accounted for, and is presented in a series of drawings and detailed documents. System Engineering determines the routing, network mapping; design requirements and network load; IP Configuration and layout and system requirements.

Fidelity Systems Engineering integrates all the disciplines and specialty groups into a team effort, creating a structured developed process that proceeds from concept to production to operation.
